Business Partner

Hi all,

User created many duplicate business partners (Sold to party).

Client wants to use only few business partners.

Requirement is all the business partner should visible in the system, but those are they don't want for that business partners, system should allow the user to create

Transactions.

Ex BP name BP No

Reliance 100

Reliance 200

Reliance 300

These three BPs are in the system but client wants use BP 100 only. System should allows the user to create a transaction for the BP 100 only,not for

(200 &300) but when ever they search the BP all three should displayed in the list.

Can any one help me to implement this, it urgent

If this is a one-of requirement then you can put a transaction block for BP's 200 and 300. The system will not let anybody to create a transaction for these BP's.

Hi Sathish,

Go to Tr. BP select the BP in role Sold-to Party. then go to tab Status. Here you will can block the transaction for the BP.

The other solution could be that in the tab Excluded function you exclude the partner function sold-to party. which will help you to stop creating any transaction for that BP.

Hi Krishan,

I checked the Tr.Block for Sold to party,system throwing an error, but when am creating Transaction for tht sold to party sytem should not allow the users to create trs or it should not be saved.

Hi,

As you stated in your requirment that System should allows the user to create a transaction for the BP 100 only,not for (200 &300). So go to transaction BP and open the BP 200/300 in role SP and in excluded partner function tab exclude the partner function Solt to party. Once this is done save the BP and then it will not allow to create transaction for the BP 200/300 .
