Transfer request is open as there is no stock in interim bin

Hi SCN's,

I have an issue with a scenario, we have old Transfer request generated during GRN and user have not created any Transfer order and moved the stock from interim bin to another bin and consumed the stock. How to close Transfer request for which stock is not available in interim bin? Kindly help.

Need to add another point in the question, TO confirmation is done automatically by system but due to authorisation issue it was not confirmed by some user (Source bin and destination bin are same).

Problem is users have moved the stock to another bin and consumed stock partially and this partial quantity which is consumed is showing in negative while executing report LX02.

So kindly help what to do with TR's which has partial quantity and TR's which has zero quantity.

This sounds pretty much like an inconsistency, or it is just you looking into one corner without having the overall situation in mind.

WM is just a sub of MM, whatever you add in MM you get a quant in WM. And what ever internal movement you do in WM the sum of the total quantity of all quants will not change.

If you have a negative quant after a consumption then you either consumed more than you had (which would also mean a negative quantity in MM) or you have a positive quant somewhere else in your warehouse which needs to be netted with the negative quant.

Typical beginner issues are activating WM while you have stock in the storage location. This stock is not automatically visible in WM (how should SAP know in which bin it is?).

Thanks Jurgen and android for swift reply, in my case there are partial stocks for example GRN done for 100 Qty and they moved the stock to another bin and consumed 30 Qty. Now how to close the TR as there are partial quantity available. Kindly help.

Alternatively, use txn LB02 as suggest but change the header status to E - Process Complete. This will then systematically 'close' the TR.

do you get any error if you try the deletion via LB02? Deletion is an entry in the first menu there.
