I have rad all of the recommendations, dos and don'ts related to getting content from a 4.1 SP3+ to 4.2 SP3 environment.
Based on where I ma in my upgrade process, I can't change my strategy and do an in place or even side by side on the same server upgrade.
I have new servers already loaded with 4.2 SP3, where we have to stop fr now because of some business requirements.
Now I need to promote my content from existing servers to my new servers, environment by environment.
DEV, TEST and ultimately PROD.
I need to build my lcm properties files and after reviewing my current environments, I have chosen these three types of promotions as what will work best.
