    Hi Nilesh,

    NEUPL --- regerative planning -

Irrespecitve of the planning file entries, all the materisl will be planned , this might take long time as there are no restrictions.

NETCH --- Net change planning -

When we select this option, only those materials with planning file entries or in other words with MRP relevant changes are planned , no restictions on the PLanning Horizon, If there is a requirtement after 2 years that is laos planned.

NETPL---- Net change planning totoal horizon --- Similar to NETCH with the planning done within the Planning horizon. That is if we define 100 days as planning horizon, any requirement out side this 100 days is not planned.

Reward if the solution is Ok with you.

    Hi,

1.NEUPL - This key is selected normally during initialisation of SAP.

    2. NETCH - This key is used when u want to do planning for all materials that have undergone a change. Here planning is done for the entire period.

    3. NETPL - Similar to NETCH; but planning is done only for the planning time fence.

    Hi Nilesh,

    1) NEUPL - This is Regenerative Planning means this is generally used when u r running MRP for the first time or can be used in the later stage in Production if u find some data Inconsistency. In these all the materials are planned irrespective of any changes made to them.As this includes all the materials therefore load on the system increases.

    2) NETCH - This is Net change Planning means it plans the materials which have undergone some changes relevant from MRP since the last planning run. After last MRP runs if u have made any changes like in BOM,Sales order etc the system will consider only that particular materials for Planning.

    3) NETPL - This is Net Change Planning for Total horizon means it will plan only the materials which have undergone changes within the Planning Horizon which u have defined. Therefore It restricts the materials to great extent.

    Hopes this satisfies ur need.

    Reward points if Useful.
