How to determine Contract Price in PR (ME51N)

Hi Friends,

We have defined the quantity contract with stock materials. During PR creation we would like derive the price from Contract from the system derived source of supply(contract/outlin eagreement) in the PR.

I could not find any functional modules/BAPI's to read the price details from Contract. Appreciate, if you could provide possible solution.

Points will be awarded.

    Hi,

    Very simple solution!

You can give the reference of this contract/Sch.agreement in Source list (ME03) for the material + Vendor combination. Inturn the price for subsequent purchasing documents would be picked up from the contract/Sch.Agr., which you have mentioned in the source list.

    Hope this helps.

    Best Regards, Murugesh AS

      Hi Murgesh

Thanks for your prompt response. I tried, but it does not work in PR. According to my understanding Source of supply is useful when it is relevant to MRP . Generally, price will be adopted from Contract during release order creation and not in the PR creation.

Our requirement is to bring the contract price in the PR using function modules or configuration or any other means.

      Thanks & Regards

      Kumar
