SAP Server getting hanged in frequent basis

Hi Experts,

One of a Client, Whose SAP Version is 9.2 PL-8 Hot Fix-1. They have 48 User Licenses. Out of 48 Users, 25 Users are remotes Users. Their SAP configuration are as follows

IBM X3650 M4 Server 7915-N6A Intel Xeon Processor E5 2609 v2 (Quad Core) 32 GB RAM 5x600 GB SAS 2.5” HDD.

No of Crystal Reports in the database is more than 200. But the Server is getting hanged in frequent Basis.

In case the hardware needs upgradation, pl. revert back with details. Please Suggest, What to do.

You need to find out whether it is Windows server issue or SBO issue or database issue. You need to check CPU usage at normal time and at time of server hanging. You need to check latest expensive queries and then you can know why this error is showing. You can check event viewer from the Windows server for any errors. You need to make sure about the component which is creating this problem. I had a recent issue where CPU usage was going to 80% every few minutes and server was hanging. We found out that it was hanging due to a failing alert in SBO.
