Hi,

I am into a scenario in the SAP to SAP integration where my partner business maintains SAP table XYZ_ABCD where order type maintained at sold to also there is another table to maintain order type at sold to and vendor level plus another b2b table at sales org and sold to level. It seems that have 3 different tables. I am looking for a solution to create one table in sequence at header level . Is it possible to achieve it in the designing func spec?

Hello,

I read your question several times - still, I was unable to understand what you are asking.

Could you please try to rephrase your post in a way, that non-native English speakers can understand?

If you are struggling with English, maybe you can ask a friend or a colleague to help you rewrite it.

Hi Veselina,

The above scenario is on the business requirement. In a simple way:- My company acquired a firm who runs there business on SAP and we too.

So the logic is how to determine there order type during the order creation in ECC. There order types are maintaine in three different levels.

1. SAP table some kind of EFGCF where order type is maintained at sold to and vendor level

2. SAP table some kind of zsd_zvtr where order type is maintained at sold to and open part number level

3. B2B where order type is maintained at sold to and sales org level.

If you see they maintaining 3 diff tables for order types. Do we have any selection criteria by SAP to follow order types in a single table sequence at header level instead of going through 3 diff steps...

From your example zsd_zvtr - this is some custom table, which is probably used in some exit. Is it used, where and how - only people, who have access to the documentation, which was hopefully provided and/ or can access the system with sufficient authorizations can tell you if it even makes sense to check this table.

I have no table named EFGCF, so I have no idea what you mean. Whatever is that table - try to understand where it is used and how.

3. B2B where order type is maintained at sold to and sales org level.

No idea what is the process, that was mapped - I cannot say if this table is applicable for your case.

From your explanations I assume that this is the first time you deal with such challenges.

As a start - for acquisitions some companies decide to merge SAP systems instead of keeping them separate and also - to use global process templates.Others decide to keep the systems separate, but establish how the business process will look like.

What was decided in your case? SAP system can be a broad term - what about versions, custom developments, localizations etc.?

And how will the end-to-end business process that you are trying to map will look like?

Is this PO in system 1->SO in system 2 or something else? What happens next? Is this cross-company, cross-border? What kind of data you are going to exchange, when, how?

In standard SAP you can see the sales order type in VBAK-AUART, but in you case I don't know if this is what you need or if this is the right process.

Please discuss the topic with your solution architect and the business process lead to understand better what you really need to do. It is very unlikely that anybody outside your organization can help you in this.

If at all you want to check which are the tables where sale order number would be stored, please search before posting.
