Hello Christoph,

As of Kernel Release 6.20, the SMTP library is an integral part of the SAP Internet Communication Manager, so it doesn't appear in the /sapmnt/SID/exe

Please see note 455140.

hello andreas,

Thanks for answer. now, i can send mails from n4s to the world over an ext. mailserver.

I use this http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw70/helpdata/de/c7/92e93ac678601be10000000a11402f/frameset.htm

for my solution.

how and where however do I have to adjust “pop” for receive mails from inet?

my idea:

in TCD SCON - i create a node(POP) and i dont know - what I am to take for rfc connection. (SM59) pop.domain.com is not a http-server and i cant select a program.

my idea was to copy the node SMTP an configure pop.domain.com with port 110 and then i configure portforwarding 110 - 11111 for service in (SMICM). In (SICF) i create or copy SAPconnect(E)SMTP or can I use the SMTP node for Mail-in?

thanks for help.
