Has anyone out there implemented the new functionality described in the note (new grant type support)? If so can you tell me whether it supports token caching? Or is there a new access request to the OAuth server every time a message is processed?
Hi Chris,
The token is generated for every new request you send here is blog for the new grant type.

Hi Chris,
No, Unfortunately didn't get a chance to work on OAuth using SAP's Rest adapter. But yes we have several interfaces using Advantaco's Rest functionality but that too doesn't give the caching option . Can you put up this query on that blog comment section as it will be hepful for many.
Br,
Manoj
Thanks Manoj
Good idea to post as comment, I have done that. If I find an answer by other means (looking to try it out myself if I can) then I will post it here also.
Thanks
Chris
Just to follow up - it seems Manoj is indeed correct, and at present a new OAuth request is generated for each message.
Thanks
Chris
