hai all

in HR module providing an authorization, is it the work of basis personnel or is it the work of functional consultant.

Hi Madhu,

Basically, authorization is the work of Basis, but in terms of HR, we need to create various Roles based on the function of the end user. Then they will generate the profile and assign it to the User.

Look at the infotype 1016 & 1017 for profiles assigned to the employee.

authorization depends upon the roles of the end user

an administrator for hr(recruiting) will be given authorizations for recruitment codes only like this it varies. the input to create these authorizations have to be provided by functional consultants and this will setup(configured) by the Basis consultant
