Info record update

Hi Experts

In PO item details , there is a check box for Info record update.

Can somebody tell exactly what data in the info records are updated due to this.

    Dear Rajesh,

    Just Press F1 in the tick, it will show the guide:) here's i capture it :

    Selecting InfoUpdate causes one of the following situations to occur:

    - If just one info record (with or without plant) exists, it is

    updated.

    - If no info record exists and "plant condition requirement" was

    specified in Customizing, an info record with plant is created

    Otherwise, an info record without plant is created.

    - If two info records exist (that is, one info record with plant

    and one without plant) the info record with plant is updated.

    Hi Rajesh

    If u check this box then either during quotation or in the purchase order.

    the price in the inforecord gets updated.

    Hi Rajesh,

    This check box updates the PO number Price and date in the ifo record

    If info record is not maintained it creates the new info record

      I changed two things in my PO.

      First is the Pld Delivery time from 30 to 50 days.

      Gross Price (cond type pbxx from 10 to 12.5 Rs.)

      Saved the purchase order.

      Create one more line item in the same PO.

      This time

      Pld Delivery time appeared as 50 days.

      Also Gross Price was appearing as 12.5 Rs.

      But when I displayed inforecord these changes were not reflecting in me13.

      Can some body elaborate on this.

      I refered Note 430543 - FAQ: Purchasing info record , but it doesn't talk about this.
