possible to use javascript to access a xml file stored in mime?

Hi

Just a short question:

Do you know if it is possible to access an xml stored in the mime type repository by using JavaScript from a web application?

In theory you can access the mime so it should be possible, however I am not certain if I am missing some sort of restrictions here?

Does someone have any background info or experience?
