Multi provider

We already have one muti provider, Now we need to add one more cube into that multi providor and create report from that Multi provider. Can you please give some idea, how can I attach the new cube into the Multi provider and what else I have to do

You need to know what all you need from that Cube to show up in the report & the join condition.

Now you can just Edit MP add the new cube - Identify Chars & Key Figs ( Select )- Activate .

Hi,

Right click on ur Multi provider select change then go for normal procedure which info cube u want to add select that infocube and activate it.

And in the querry desinger make necessary changes according to ur requirement and run the querry.

Hi Mat,

You need to go to change mode of the Multiprovider and insert the cube which you want and identify the Infoobjects in the Identification tab in Multi Provider...

If you have others query created on the first multiprov, I suggest to create another multiprovider on copy from the first and then add the new cube.

Note that multiprovider doesn't take db space.

Hi,

You need to open the multiprovider in edit mode (double click in RSA1) and then in the first screen, you will get the chance to make a selection for the base objects, like cube and ODS to add to this multprovider. Once that is done, you need to choose the chars and KF and make the necessary dimension assignment. Also make the identification and selection settings.
