Error in posting a goods issue

Former Member

Hi everyone,

We're encountering an issue with posting. When trying to post a goods issue from a delivery via VL02N, an error message is displayed : "The document does not contain any item.". although it does contain items.

Do you have an idea of why thie error would appear ?

Thanks in advance.

Hello,

Can you check whether

1. you have picked the item,if not then pick the material and goto Edit>Confirm pick order>All items, or

2. activated warehouse management. if yes then you need to create a transfer order with reference to that delivery.

Hope it helps.

I tried and it's not the case. I will investigate further.

Hi,

Could you check whether the item is picked or not?

Pls check...

If you have warehouse mgmt enabled then you need to create a transfer order against your delivery and then confirm the TO, then only you can post goods issue.....

Hi,

As per the Message Number, please check with the Handling Unit maintainance for delivery and then try again.

Hi,

I think if the Picking is not done, then system should give the message as "Items not picked completely".

Can you check with the error log what is the exact problem .

Unfortunately the error log does not display more than that :

Item Material Description

E VL 610

Document does not contain any items
