Sql Server error

Dear all,

I m using windows 2000 advance server database sql server2000

installing SAP 4.6c .

while i m installing SAP 4.6c facing SQL Error( you have wrong configured MS Sql server the actual charset os MS Sql server is iso_1. please reinstall MS Sql server using charset cp850.

The Actual sort order of MS Sql server is no case_iso . please re install MS Sql server using the sort order bin _ip850.)

please let me

    Hi Raheel,

    while installing the MSSQL Server you need to choose the collation that you want to use. There are many different collations but with SAP you need to use SQL_Latin1_General_CP850_BIN or SQL_Latin1_General_CP850_BIN2. To solve the problem, you need to deinstall the MSSQL Server installation and repeat it - but take care, you need to install it with the collation SQL_Latin1_General_CP850_BIN this time - this will solve your problem.
