example.. Route has 3 operations all components on the bom allocated to last operation. All components are Wh05 fabrications total of 2500 hours for these. All done by the same work center. This drives all capacity to be in the last 2 to 3 weeks of a project we expect to complete over a 15 month period. Is this the correct way to plan? We would then firm up the planned orders, about 150 of them, to begin much sooner than the route plans. My EIDS drives the planned order for the header with the last operation being roughly the date of the EIDS. Is there a better way?
Hi
If the working hour is 8hrs per day it comes around 313 days
if we consider 2 weekend holidays it would be 356 Days
since you have 1 1/2 years
you can still go according to your plan
Go for De Bottle-necking and Frequent Preventive maintenance for better performance of the equipment
