Output Type Issues

Hi All,

The scenario is when I save the sales order a mail should automatically goes to SH. But instead it is going to BP. Output Type has default partner as SH. Also Output type is assigned with partner function SH and not BP. When i am maintaining record in VV11 with SH its coming in sales order but when I save my order and goes to SOST to see I am not finding my record for the mail which is defined in SH master record. And in VV11 system is also allowing me to maintain record for BP (which is not assigned with that output type) and when i m creating sales order its coming there and even I can find mail id in SOST which is defined in BP master record. I am really surprised to see this. I am using medium as 5 (External send) and output type is BA00 (order confirmation). And my partner functions have different master records.

Please help and provide full explaination.

Hi Mohit,

Path: SPRO -> Sales & Distribution -> Basic Functions -> Output Control -> Output Determination -> Maintain Output Determination for Sales Documents -> Maintain Output Types

Check the following

1) In the default value tab if the Partner Function field is SH

2) In Partner functions tab whether the medium 5 as been set against SH

Path: SPRO -> Sales & Distribution -> Basic Functions -> Output Control -> Output Determination -> Maintain Output Determination for Sales Documents -> Assign output types to Partner function

1) Check if your have an entry for BA00, medium 5 and partner function as SH

Have you maintained output type BA00 against Partner Function SH?
