hi while changing fs00 decreption filed ( no chance to change)..please tell me in which tcode we can control that filed???? At chart of account level

Hi,

You can change description by going to change mode in the header or by clicking the pencil sign.

For field status of GL account go to OBD4 & change the field status if required.

OBD4, field status controls only the company code segment of the GL Master. Description will be there in the Chart of Account section of GL Master.

Hi Sup,

Oncer you create GL, except its number and description rest you can change in change mode.

Now there are 2 option

1)delete it and recreate it, possibily no data exists

2) create new one and block existing for posting

Hi

Go to FS00. Pls select the GL Account number and then click on the change icon. You will be able to change the same.

Ps assign points if it meets your requirement

Why can not you change the description. Did you click the "pencil" button (Change icon)?
