Hi!

In SE11 transaction, while you are creating a new table, or altering an existing one, on the Fields tab, there is a check box, called Init. If you check this, this means, the field could not have initial (empty) value.

This field is mandantory, while you are updating this in transaction SM30.

Hi,

when you are trying to create the Z table under SE11, for the field to be mandatory , Select this init flag if a field to be inserted in the database is to be filled with initial values. The initial value used depends on the data type of the field.

Hi,

You cant make mandatory for table fields, Instead you can check for initials by selecting Intial check box.

Hi Vishal,

While creating the Z-table, check key check box and initial valuecheck box , so that you can make the required field mandatory

Hope this resolves your query.
