Maintenance plan

Hi PM experts

In my company we have 3 equipments one will be spare. i want to do preventive maintenance based on performance. At a time 2 equipment will be installed in functional location and one will be in available condition(Like spare).

I have created 3 measuring points and 3 maintenance plan for those equipment,I will enter the run hour for installed equipments only.but system is generating the maintenance order for dismantled equipment also based on the annual performance reading.

Is there any validation or check is there to stop the maintenance order for dismantled equipments.(Except the measurement reading entry for dismantled equipment)

as you said system will generate the maintenance call object based on annual performance ,i think there is only way ,ie you can make the measurement document on regular interval based on which further maintenance call object will be calculated.

can you explain this process brifly.

i have created the measurement document based on the equipment installed condition.At a same time 2 equipment will be in installed condition and one will be spare.For installed equipment system will generate the maintenance order based on the measurement reading.

But for available condition equipment(Spare) it is generating based on the annual performance.i want to restrict the order generation for spare equipments

hi ravikumar,

create measurement document for spare pump. say for example you have used only for 10 hrs then create measurement document according to the maintenance plan (ie for one month .) enter the counder reading as same 10 hrs , then system will automatically reschedule according to the counter reading you entered.

other option just try this deactive the maintenane plan or schedulling when the spare pump is not in operation, then activate whenever you replace the pump.
