ODS Activation fails with memory error

Help!!!

Guru's, I have extracted payroll transaction data (0HR_PY_1) from R3 (117million records), loaded this data to the PSA, and loaded from the PSA to the ODS. When I attempt to activate data in ODS I get the following error message:

TSV_TNEW_PAGE_ALLOC_FAILED.

Anybody have any hints/tips to get this data activated?

Check if you have start routine coded...and using lot of internal table memory space..

You can check with your BASIS on increasing memory...and tablespace..

Thanks for all the help folks.

Our Basis team opened an OSS with SAP. SAP has recommended that we run this process with 'Emergency' parameters. This is what we will be doing this evening. Wish me luck.

R3 extraction took 109 hours. Expected activation for ODS to take 17.5 hours.

This is an initiliation for the payroll delta process, and is in a process chain.

I have contacted by Basis team and they have opened an OSS with SAP for this issue.

Schedule a background job by keeping the activation in a process chain.

Rather than trying to load everything at once, can you "divide" the data by periods or organizations... Let's say, try to load in "packages" of two months, or by company code...

117 million records is a LOT to activate at once in an ODS... For sure... How long did it take to load to the PSA?
