Anyone knows what is the function module to check on real-time cube locked or not?

Ok.. let me re-pharse this.

I need to locate a function module which would allow me to check who is locking the data slice and be able to return the locking characteristics details.

Hi,

do you want to see who is blocking you in the planning tool? we do this by adding a command (BEX):

DATA_PROVIDER 1 name of your query

CMD 1 SET_INPUT_MODE

ACTIVE 1 X

If you click on it and you are locked, the log will show you who is blocking you

It works for BPS and I guess also for IP, so guess you might try this FM : UPC_ENQUEUE_READ.

Note that as from NW2004s you can also use RSPLSE in order to check this.

Hi,

Cube will not be locked when users are planning only a data slice (characteristic combinations) will be locked. Only a compression locks the whole cube.
