APO complete cycle

Hi,

I am new to APO. I want a complete cycle of APO with T-Codes and brief explanations. I know about CIF ann BW part of APO. But tell me the sequence of steps and transactions.

We are creating logical systems and RFC settings in both R/3 and APO. We do create BSG in APO,but where we link the BSG and R/3. Is there any settings for that.

I have one more question. Should the Logical system names and RFC names be same in both R/3, APO.

Kindly clarify.

Thanks and regards

If you have multiple R/3 systems connected to same APO system, the BSG helps identifying master data. See this linkhttp://help.sap.com/saphelp_scm50/helpdata/en/1c/24e537b6ed130be10000009b38f8cf/frameset.htm">link> under CIF.

You need to maintain the same logical system names and corresponding RFCs in R/3 and APO system. Also the RFC user needs to be created in both system. Please see this linkhttp://help.sap.com/saphelp_scm50/helpdata/en/c7/b5df371babfa0fe10000009b38f842/frameset.htm">link>.
