Narratives for SAP Business Objects Lumira

Hi All,

I am working on a Proof of Concepts (POC) on Narratives for SAP Business Objects Lumira edition. I wish to understand the following to make progress in my POC

1. Narratives enable everyone to not only see data through visualizations but also to read the most important and interesting insights about data through intelligent narratives.

(i) Can we set rules for the generation of narratives? For example, if I want the narrative to mention a particular keyword or generate the commentary using a particular syntax, can I configure it in Lumira?

(ii)If so, where will these rules be configured and stored?

It would be helpful if the experts on this forum could share their experience on this topic.

Thanks,

Surya

    Hi,

i'm not familiar with Narratives, but there is a Commentary service on the BI Platform which is used by WebIntelligence today. This allows users to collaborate and share findings on reports by making comments on data-value in tables / cells

However, Lumira 2.0 doesn't use this commentary service yet, but i've heard it's planned for a later release.

    regards, H

Hi - Narrative Science has a nice free add-on for Lumira 1.31x - go to https://narrativescience.com/Partners/Business-Intelligence/SAP-BusinessObjects-Lumira - I recommend trying it out.
