Duplicate material question

Good morning,

We have the same material provided from 2 different suppliers and used for 2 different customers with the risk of customer complaint in the case of mixing the raw materials

What would be the best solution?

If one Raw Material from two Supplier is flexible for Assembling/processing in the one Finished prooduct of two customers, the simple way is identifying the Raw material Physically with some "Identification Marks" during Procurement or after Processing.

The identification mark may be "S1" means supplier 1, "S2" supplier 2 on the ROH

there are lot of marking system available in Market
