Hi Sud,

You are right about the imported objects options available in IR. But for you to import any IDOC or RFC, the first thing that you need to make sure is that your Software Component Version has the rights to import IDOC from different servers. So you need to first enable the option and then you can import by going to import IDOC's and RFC's.

First you should make sure where ur idocs and rfcs are available and their logon credentials..once you give them all the idocs and rfcs will be displayed...just select the once you require and click on import...you need to save and activate them for them to come into action

Click on software component in XI & select import of RFC & IDOC permitted & provide the details as application system & client.

Now in the namespace click on imported object & it will ask for system details & user id, password & after this list of RFC & IDOC.

Hi

I think this is the only way to do so or we are getting your question wrong.

In the IR you can import the RFC from R/3 system.

Click on the Imported Objects and right click on the RFC and choose import the RFC.

Do not forget to change the option in the namespace.Click on Import of RFC/iDoc allowed.

Thanks

Sud,yes that the way you import IDOCs,RFCs from R/3.

but your SWCV should be enabled to import RFC & IDOCS,there will be two options for the SWCV like

Allow import of IDOCs&RFC

do not allow import

so,in order to import them SWCV should be enabled to import option thats what they are talking about.

then give R3 credentials.
