Getting list of CDS views using a specific table

Hi,

When I open a CDS view (in eclipse) I can see where it gets its data (other cds views and tables).

I am actually more interested to know in what views a table is used? The Where-Used function seems perfectly suited for this, but it doesn't list any of the CDS views.

The SYS views could offer a solution, maybe. But I haven't find the appropriate view yet.

Can anyone help me here?

Thx

Tijl

    Hi Tijl,

Generally to get the View list built on a table you can use the below query:

    SELECT BASE_SCHEMA_NAME, BASE_OBJECT_NAME,

    DEPENDENT_SCHEMA_NAME,DEPENDENT_OBJECT_NAME,

    DEPENDENT_OBJECT_TYPE

    FROM "SYS"."OBJECT_DEPENDENCIES"

    WHERE BASE_SCHEMA_NAME = '*********(Schema name)'

    AND BASE_OBJECT_NAME = '**********(table name)'

    Thanks,

    Vinod

SE11 DDL search doesn`t show SAP standard CDS views , only shows custom created CDS views . For standard views we should also search views (which as a result will show linked SAP Standard views SQL View name)

Is there a way to search which CDS is used in which CDS views including all available CDS views in the system ?
