hyrbis marketing 1708 test tenant not able to send out emails

Hi - I'm using 1708 Cloud with a test tenant. I was able to send emails to contacts through campaign execution before. However, it seems that after 1708 update, many emails(even the same ones) cannot be sent out successfully. If I go to contact's personal page, it is tracked as "outbound failed" under interactions. I saw from comments that I have to define whitelist in the campaign execution whitelist application. Is it true that I have to have everyone in my target group set up in the whitelist application? Is it just an issue with the test tenant?

    Hello Chenyun,

    do you get an OUTBOUND_FAILED or an OUTBOUND_CHECK_FAILED interaction? Do you get any interaction reason displayed?

    Can you share the interaction you get.

    Dear Johannes Voglsam ,

    I know this is an old post but I have exactly the same problem.

    After running an e-mail campaign I get interation OUTBOUND_FAILED (with no reason assigned to it):

    The recipient's e-mail address is Whitelisted.

    I have been able to test and receive e-mails for this recipient via report CUAN_MKT_EXEC_CHECK_CONFIG and the e-mail was sent successfuly.

    So apprently the problem is only for e-mail execution that the e-mail is not being sent and the 'outbound failed' interaction is being created.

    Any inputs on this?

    Hello Luis,

    first please advise if you have marketing area activated for campaign execution? If so please make sure that the affected contacts have the marketing area of the campaign assigned - please check the online help accordingly:

    Further please check the ID and ID Origin of the Outbound failed interactions - please refer to the following blog how to get the details:

    How to retrieve Interaction Details in SAP Marketing Cloud

    Then please share the (anonymized) ID and ID Origin - this will give an idea what is failing.
