hyrbis marketing 1708 test tenant not able to send out emails

Hi - I'm using 1708 Cloud with a test tenant. I was able to send emails to contacts through campaign execution before. However, it seems that after 1708 update, many emails(even the same ones) cannot be sent out successfully. If I go to contact's personal page, it is tracked as "outbound failed" under interactions. I saw from comments that I have to define whitelist in the campaign execution whitelist application. Is it true that I have to have everyone in my target group set up in the whitelist application? Is it just an issue with the test tenant?

Hello Chenyun,

do you get an OUTBOUND_FAILED or an OUTBOUND_CHECK_FAILED interaction? Do you get any interaction reason displayed?

Can you share the interaction you get.

It just says "Outbound Email" at the contact level, which I believe means the email should be sent out successfully?

Hello Chenyun,

the 'Outbound Email' means that from campaign execution everything works fine - the interaction was created properly and the email send request was sent to the email service provider. In case the email cannot be delivered to the email client you should receive a bounce interaction after some delay.

One doubt, the 'Outbound Email' interaction is also created in case the email address is not whitelisted - can you therefore please check the whitelist app again to make sure that the emaill address is whitelisted.

there was a mistake in my latest reply: if the email address is not whitelisted an 'Outbound Failed' interaction will be created.
