PA - Insert new Pesonnel action to terminated or Retiree for the past

Hi,

We would like to add one more personnel action to a Retiree Employee,

in between the existing Personnel Action. But, system is performing

differently.

Please refer the following example to understand the problem:

Employee Retired on 06/21/2007 with Personnel Action "14-Retiree"

Insert new Action "Change in Personal Data" with start date 05/30/2007.

While executing the above said Per. Action, system shows blank to

employment status and end date of the new personnel action with 12/31/9999!!!.

Could you please help me on this issue, why the Employment status is "BLANK" and End date of the Personnel action 12/31/9999?
