Hi,

In ABAP system goto the transaction code smlg and make it your sever node make it public and find the IP address over there your portal IP.

Then it will work.

The problem seems to be your MSG server is not reaching.

if any errors Run the Jco post it here.such that we can resolve.

Thanks,

Lohi.

Hi Gobinath,

This error states that an entry for the R3 server is missing in the hosts file of your portal server.

In your portal server, Go to Start> Run> type drivers> select etc->select hosts.

Open the hosts folder with notepad and make an entry in the following way:

<ip address of R3 server> <hostname>

e.g

XXX.XX.XX.XX idececc5

Save the hosts file and then Test and Ping using the JCo.

Hope this helps.

you have to add the entry "sapmsDV1 36xx/tcp" (replacing xx with the systemnr of the system DV1) to your services file at /etc/services (windows: %WINDIR%/system32/drivers/etc).

after that restart the server (otherwise you'll receive another error, regarding caching problems)

Hi Gobinath,

It seems that the hostname that you are providing is going wrong somewhere.

Is it exactly idececc5.

Just check once are you facing any error in your Technical system.
