XS Advanced create-service results in an error: Unauthorized

Dear Community,

Using HANA Express edition I am trying to create an instance of the jobscheduler service to bind it to my app. However when issuing the command

xs create-service jobscheduler default myjobscheduler

I receive the following error from the server:

FAILED: Asynchronous job 'Creating service instance 'myjobscheduler' [service: 'jobscheduler', plan:'default'] of [Org '**', Space 'SAP'].' failed: Provisioning service myjobscheduler (service id xsa-jobscheduler, plan id jobscheduler-srv-default) on service broker "jobscheduler" (url: https://xxxxx:51032) failed due to unexpected return code from broker: REST request PUT to url 'https://xxxxx:51032/v2/service_instances/8aac9990-5879-45c5-9d4c-f0bf3a0b48dc' had response code 401 (Request from client was not authorized) with error message: 'Unauthorized'..

I am logged in using an xsa user XSA_ADMIN to which I have added a custom application role collection JOB_ROLE which includes all the roles that came with the jobscheduler namely:

  • jobscheduler_administration_template
  • jobscheduler_viewer_template
  • jobscheduler_configuration_template

There is already a jobscheduler-broker running:

xs app jobscheduler-broker

outputs =>

name:jobscheduler-broker

requested state: STARTED

instances: 1

memory:256 MB

disk:<unlimited>

buildpack: sap_nodejs_buildpack

urls:https://xxxxx:51032

The XSA_ADMIN user also has all the possible space roles granted to it.

Is there anything I am missing to authorize myself to create an instance of the jobscheduler?

Thanks in advance!
