The Allocation component is used by Purchasing for long-term planning and central distribution of merchandise.

    hi,

In addition to manual allocation of stock, the system supports the an automated allocation process involving allocation rules. These are used when merchandise is split up in the same ratios among the same stores.

The allocation rules are highly flexible, as you can define the plants as you choose. Statistical information is based in the Retail Information System.

To best use the Allocation component, it makes sense to have the same structure of material and plant groups in the Retail Information System and Logistics Information System.

    regards,

    sasi
