BI Upgrade from 3.0B to 7.0

Hi all,

the upgrade from BW 3.0B to BI 7.0 takes a long time in the Phase ACT_700. The database is Oracle 10.2.0.2 with all the recommended patches. The OS is HP-UX 11.11. I have already read the note 556764 about the performance in phase ACT_700. The newest kernel patch, dboraslib, tp and R3trans are maintained in /usr/sap/put/exe. The both parameters rsdb/max_in_blocking_factor and rsdb/max_blocking_factor are set to 200. On the shadow instance I see with transaction ST04 an active access to table DD27S with a really big SQL statement. This session is active since hours. The appropriate unix process with the oracle pid needs nearly 100% CPU.

Any ideas to "accelerate" this problem?

regards,

Joe
