SAP Queries

Hi To All you SAP guys,

My name is Sujeet,I am a fresher and have been working for last two years in the field of programming, testing and Networking & Security.

I have done BCA and PGDBA(IT),I would like to know whether my profile suits for a SAP professional.

Srinivas's post is really helpful, but still I am little apprehensive regarding my profile whether it will suit the SAP or not. Also if possible suggest me some of the good institute from where I can persue SAP in India(specifically in Delhi & NCR),I know

about Siemens but its a very costly option.

I would like to know all you guys who are into now SAP profession how you people get into this field,is it via taking courses from any institute or e-learning.

What are the possiblity of ABAPer becoming a Techno-Functional Consultant?

How much it takes for ABAPer to become a Techno-Fuctional Consultant?

Sujeet(Thirst to join SAP professional group of today's era)

    Hi Sujeet,

Good to note that you are interested to become a SAP professional.I suggest you to first learn ABAP in the best institute in Delhi, going through the books, blogs, forums, browse help sites to gain more knowledge in ABAP. I am not aware which is the best institute in Delhi. obviously I recommend Siemens though it is costly. If you get certification from Siemens then you might get Job little bit easily. Else you have to try with fake exp which is not recommended.

After working in ABAP for few years, then you can become a techno functional guy depending on your interest at that time. With this experience you can decide which module to learn to become a function expert like SD or MM or FI modules etc.

    Hope this helps.

    Please reward if useful.

      Hi Srinivasa,

Thanks for the reply,I would like to browse through the web in order to look for the second best option rather then Siemens,if not then the last resort certainly is Siemens.

One more question,do you have any information about HP,do they also provide SAP training ?

      Thanks and Regards

      Sujeet Kumar

There are no such specific criteria to become a SAP consultant. Check this link for all the SAP authorized education centers in India. Yes I do agree that Siemens is costly, not only siemens but all the SAP authorized center are costly but these are only institutes wich are authorized:
