ISA R3 Customization

Can the forum members share advice,information on how they have done the

customization for their ISA R3 application(also called webshop,ecommerce etc)

Has any body used NWDS alone (without NWDI) to do the customization?

If you guys have used NWDI then what approach has been followed?
