Cost Center Planning via EXCEL upload

Can someone help me with my issue below?

I need to be able to upload an excel file by cost center and update the cost center budget.

Current we use KP06 budget version to update amounts by cost element. We would like to be able to upload a excel file to update the budget numbers. On KP06 there is Extras>Excel upload; however I am not sure how it works.

We have a file with cost element and the amount that needs to be uploaded.

Please help.
