Hello Expert,

I have a custom webdynpro application deployed on portal 7.01. But for that i don't have any workspace back-up. I want to get the complete project structure in NWDS. Is there any way to do so?

I have gone through the below archived discussion thread, But not able to get the project structure as mentioned in the thread.

Jun is right. One might not retrieve the project structure of a SDA (EAR or SCA) that is deployed on the RTS.

The solution, in the above thread you do mention, is about extracting the source code and that's all.

You might do this of course, but the project structure you need to create by yourself.

All in all...:

1. If, in the past, this project is transported with NWDI you might extract the SCA from the CMS, add it to a track and import the track to the NWDS. Then you will have everything you need for the migration.

2. Else, this custom code is developed only in the NWDS and deployed locally on the RTS. Hence, you might "extract" the source code (probably a decompilation will be necessary as well - this is also mentioned in the thread).
