Upgradation

Hi all,

I am developing interfaces in PI 7.0( existing interfaces in XI 2.0).i am not upgrading just implementing in 7.0 from scratch.

could anyone tell me what are the things i have to concentrate while studying the existing system.i have to do from SLD to end..

plaease help me out here.

    Hi Krishna,

    Proceed with the same procedure.....

    SLD - Create TS,BS,Products

    IR - Integration scenario,Interface Objects,Mapping Objects,

    ID - SA,RA,ID,RD

    Apart from what kumar has said...creating RFC's on both side if required..

    -->existing system

    if by existing system you mean to say existing Legacy system which you are supposed to integrate with other system using XI.

    like in case of JDBC/JMS(for oracle)

    there you will have to apply a patch using classes12.zip(from Oracle) in XI and then you have to deploy those services in XI also,to make your scenario work ...

    Features point of view there is not much difference between XI 3.0 and PI 7.0...
