Commercial Invoice

Hello,

I would like to know if anybody here know a solution about a document that doesn't exist into SAP B1 2005A. It's call a Commercial Invoice. The commercial invoice is a document we need to produce for exporting products in USA.

A Commercial Invoice is produce in the same time as the delivery documents. But it's different in content. I created something with the PLD. But It required a lof of UDF and formatted searches to fill most of the UDFs.

A commercial invoice must be flexible and be able to be edited at any moment. And as SAP B1 is right now, we can't edit a delivery after it was added.

The additional data is very important because we can shjip directly to our customer's customer. For example, we need 4 address fields, not just two as it is in SAP's marketting documents. Anyway, I won't describe it all here.

We would like to know if any person here knows an add-on to do that, or we need to build it with the SDK ?

Hi,

The addon (developed by certain partner) is needed if the SDK can't do.

I am sure you need the invoice and the invoice must create journal entry after added.

The only solutions are addon (looking for it in http://cpsn-channel.sap.com) or developing addon.

I don't think that the commercial invoice must affect the Journal. It's more like an information sheet for the custom officers. You see each items requires a special description according with whats in the North-America Free Trade Agreement. It should have special code. And the price we show on the Commercial Invoice isn't the price we are selling to our customer. Because if we ship directly to our customer's client, we need to show the price that our Customer's custmoer will have to pay.

So this document hasn't effect on our accounts. But we need to keep a tracking of those commercial invoices.

The purpose of the Commercial Invoice is helping the merchandise to cross quicker the US border. We know Federal Express are producing Commercial Invoices, but they are using their own tool ...
