what is differnce between generate partnerprofile (BD82) and

create partner profile (we20)

    creating the partner profile is identifying in the system in the distributed environment systems

    generating means u r activating the system i.e. telling to the network i am in active mode

    in BD82 u can create new partner profiles....

    in we20 u can assign message types to the new created partner profiles...

    Hi,

    A quick way to generate the partner profile would be through

    transaction BD82 after creating model view.. You could fine tune

    the partner profile settings automatically generated from above

    step using WE20.
