My company presently run SAP ERP2004 on SQL DB using 3 tier architecture with PRD & QAS attached to a SAN. Our main business area is HR and Payroll. Our team of 3 do the full range of technical tasks, ABAP, BASIS, Security, DBA, OS, Patches, ah hoc config and in the not to distant future ESS/MSS etc etc. Our workforce is approx 3000 with 600 system users. Management have asked us if SAP have a structure with regards the minimum amount of people that are required to manage this system from a technical viewpoint.
