Unavailable to delete cost element

Dear all,

When posting goods I get errror as:"Account 892000 requires an assigment to a CO object". For solving this problem I tried to delete cost element via KA04 but it gives error as:"Deletion is not possible (dependent records exist in table COEP)"

How can I correct the error(s)?

Hi

To Rectify the error Go for transaction code KA04 and delete the cost elements for your G/L accounts.

because 892000 is defined as a cost element. Put your G/L account as a cost elements

Dear Shesagiri,

I can not delete cost element because there are records related to cost element 892000.

So the solution which you suggest does not work.

use tcode:OKB9 enter the G/l account & comp code & revelant cost centre
