Can i practice sap XI in

or

Technology Preview SAP NetWeaver 2004 - SAP Web Application Server on Linux

as It includes both ABAP and Java Stacks running on SAP's own database Max DB version 7.5 or IBM DB2 Universal Database for Linux version 8.2.

is there any extra components need to work for XI.

i am new to sap XI.

please send me details.

if this software is not useful for XI where can i download that software or purchase that software.

Hello Naveen,

You can install Technology Preview SAP NetWeaver 2004 - SAP Web Application Server on Linux in DB2.

It is more robust and stable, since tested overall after many rampups.

It includes all XI components, during installation you need to configure XI system and SDM compoents which is already part of NW2004 bundle in java stack.

Make sure you should have latest JAVA SDK installed in server and clients.
