Steps for a Simple Transaction data Chain in BI 7.0 for a Cube.

    1. Start

    2. Execute Infopackage

    3. Delete Indexes for Cube

    4.Execute DTP

    5. Create Indexes for Cube

    For DSO

    1. Start

    2. Execute Infopackage

    3. Execute DTP

    5. Activate DSO

    For an IO

    1. Start

    2.Execute infopackage

    3.Execute DTP

    4.Attribute Change Run

Deltas ( delta loads ) are maintained thru process chains.

Full loads are one time gigs & sometimes full loads do exist in process chains if the extractor is non delta enabled.

      Hi Prashant,

You can have all your master data attribute, text and Hierarchy in one PC and this chain should also have attr.change run at the end of the process. You need to schedule your master data process chain 1st. Then you need schedule your transaction data PC. In your DTP load you specify whether to upload transaction data even if no master is available. If you have this setting then your transaction load will not fail, if there is timing issues among your MD PC & Txn PC. But it would affect your Queries output, incase if your hierarchies MD is update or any other attribute is correctly updated.

      Hope it helps,

      Cheers,

      Balaji
