Online data transfer from R/3 to APO

Dear friends,

Can any one help me? What is the transaction code for online data transfer from R/3 to APO?

Material master;

BOM;

Work Center;

Routing;

Production version.

My understanding is to create integration models and activate them:

/CFM1

/CFM2

/CFM3

Once it is activated I will be able to see the Master data, Material Master, BOM, Workcenter, Routing and Production version in APO?

First you need to transfer plants, then material and workcenters.

Only after that try to transfer the production versions (BOM+routing) to APO either as PPM or PDS.

You create and generate integration models using CFM1.

Activation of integration model is done using CFM2 in foreground and CFM3 in background.

Once integration models are activated then you can see the master data on APO side using transaction /SAPAPO/MAT1 for Products, /SAPAPO/RES01 for resources / work centers and /SAPAPO/CURTO_SIMU for PDS or /SAPAPO/SCC03 for PPM.

Dear Som,

Good information, but we have time difference between r/3 and apo

when finish transfering the data is moving after 12 hrs

can u advise me how to solve it

Hi Raj,

What do you mean by time difference between R/3 and APO.

Check the system time settings with your BASIS team. Both APO and R/3 should have same system time. But that should not have an impact on master data. Please be more specific about the issue.

Hello Raj -

If understand you are saying that the a batch job is run every 12 hrs to send in the master data from r/3 to APO?

if thats the case then you have to wait to see the changes or the material that you are trying to CIF till the next batch runs through. the steps tht you have described are right

Create the integration model.

activate the integration model.

there are settings in there where you can transfer the data real time also, but i guess your project is not using it.

Try CFM5

Choose the objects you want and fill in like you do in CFM1 and execute...

click through to see which model it is active in
