I have crystal reports built using the Salesforce database and they run extremely slow. Anyone have any solutions?

What is the version of Crystal Reports? Support Pack and Patch level are important too. Click Help > About Crystal Reports to get the version number.

SAP Crystal reports 2016 support pack 2 is using outsourced salesforce ODBC driver and as we learned it has some problems delegating Tables linking and filtering to the datasource. As the results all records are coming to the client machine and the linking and filtering done locally. It explains the performance problems.

All the problems identified and forwarded to the driver Developers, but we do not have an ETA yet.

The only suggestion I have is not to upgrade to CR 2016 SP04 at the moment, you may face more problems.

Are the driver developers at SAP or Salesforce?
