How is the BP Role in CRM linked to Partner function in R/3.

Is there a link table for the same

Hi Asad,

Partner Functions in R/3 were mapped with Classifications in CRM.

It can be done through R/3 transaction called PIDE.

Hi everyone

I'll put my question in little more detail.

When we have a customer master coming from R/3 to CRM, how does CRM system identifies that whether its a Sold To Party or a Ship to Party.

Their has to be some kind of mapping done between Partner Functions of R/3 and that in CRM.

Hi,

In SAP the "Customer" classification from CRM is mapped with the "Account Groups" from the R/3.

As Partner functions are attached to the "Account Groups" in the R/3.

Just found the answer from my friend.

For benifit of anybody looking for solution of the same problem i am listing the solution.

This can be achieved through configuration in CRM

The path is IMGCRMBasic FunctionPartner ProcessingData Transfer--Distribution of Partner Functions from R/3 into CRM
