Hi friends ,

Our sceanrio WebDynpro -- SOAP request ( Sync ) --XI -- RFC

I am getting the following error .

<b>SOAP: call failed: com.sap.aii.af.ra.ms.api.DeliveryException: Received HTTP response code 500 : Timeout</b>

<b>This scenario was working fine earlier.</b> Now it is showing the above error . Yesterday we have restared the XI server .Morning it works fine

But now it is again raising the same error.

If i go to RWB . SOAP Sender channel is in <b>Inactive</b> mode even<b> if Active mode in Configuration</b>

Why it is happening like this ?

Do we need to do any changes ?

As mentioned by Shabarish,

check out the SXI_CACHE and also go with CPACache Refresh. Do all types of cache refresh at SLD i,e Administration>Cache Overview>Repository/Directory/Runtime.

Also in the RWB-->check for Cache Notifications

Meantime, you can activate the SOAP Channel again and check out.

Hope your service is available during the runtime.

check the cache contents - in sxi_cache, see if it is fine.

Also verify if the webservice is available. The time out can be because the WS is not available.
