REM

Hai Functionals,

I have one small doubt in REM scenario. The scenario is 1 FERT material, 2 HALB materials & 20 ROH materials. Here FERT is planned based on demand management & produced in house. So i maintained REM profile,PV & PCC. Two HALB materials also produced inhouse based on the demand of FERT.My doubt is here, i have to maintain REM profile,PV & PCC for these HALB materials.

So pls guide me from different views.

Thanks in advance.

Regards,

S.Ganeshraja

    Hi Ganesh

It is not necessary that if the FERT is manufactured by REM ur sfg or HALB should also be manufactured by REM , they can also be manufactured by discrete. The mode of production adopted is based on the way they are produced in the shopfloor. Basically if the process is repetative and the production is accounted periodically then adopting REM type of mfc with PV, PCC & REM Profile this would be easier for usage in shopfloor.

U have to maintain REM profile for any goods manufactured by repititive manufacturing. If however ur Semifinished goods are manufactured by discrete manufacturing u dont need to maintain them

    Hi Ganesh,

In your scenrio you have to do it for the HALB as well without any doubt to use the REM features for them as well.
