Hi,

I want to use 0GLACCEXT_T011_HIER Datasource to load data in BW.

More to it if any one could explain what is the exact content of 0GLACCEXT_T011_HIER, it would be very helpful.

Pls treat this as urgent.

Hi sandeep,

Every monetory transacton in R/3 will be captured in G/L account....as there are some thousands of G/L and its very confusing ...so they arrange these GL's in an hierarchy in R/3 systen which has Major Categories like

1. Sources of funds

2 Application of funds

3. Profit and loss accoutns etc...

and these main categories are again sub divided in to so many levels ..i think its 10 levels ...i.e in BW terminology 10 nodes ....

So in order to capture these in BW we will use Hierachy which will capture the exact hierarchy with out missing GL account ...we will call it as Financial Statement Item (Hierarchies)

In BI7 version we dont have Hierarchies concept till now, so for these extraction we will use only 3.X data flow ......
